The village of Andenes lies on the northern tip of the island Andøya, part of the Lofoten archipelago in Norway. It was already an important fishing village during the iron age. By the beginning of the 20th century it was one of the largest fishing ports of Norway. On the west side of the village are small coves with beautiful blue water and white sandy beaches, that look as if one has arrived in a tropical area.
