In this originally Slavic village in the Polish province of West Pommern, stands the St. Michael Archangel Church, dating from the second half of the 15th century. The Church is part of the Unesco World Heritage 'Wooden Churches of Southern Poland', and is one of the best preserved specimens of its kind. Apart from the original structure, it has kept its unique colorful interior, dating from 1500 as well. It is the oldest preserved polychrome decorated wooden church in Europe.
